Lighting Design

For me, lighting design is a form of art; painting the set and actors using colour and form to tell the story, and to support the other design areas of the piece. Light has the ability to tell a story of place, time and even temperature, and to subtly aid the script in recalling all that happens as well as giving insights to the minds of the characters in their own journeys.

This is the philosophy I come to all my work with, to collaborate as a storyteller alongside not just the design disciplines, but with the actors and the audience as well.
